Greek Islands Taverna is the pride of all Greeks in South Florida. Located on the beaches of Fort Lauderdale, it is owned and operated by brothers Sam (Sotiri) and George Kantzavelos. The Taverna boast many of the staples of the Greek diet- fresh vegetable dishes, fresh fish, lamb and salads prepared with fresh herbs, garlic and olive oil. Customers enjoy the authentic Taverna interior as well as having dinner out of doors on balmy Florida evenings.
Greek Islands takes pride in an extensive Greek wine list and bar, and Chef Sotiri's signature dishes- Shrimp, Lamb Chops and Ribs are proven favorites. The Taverna has received numerous accolades from the Florida Press and continues to be recognized as one of the premier places for South Floridians to eat.
